SDUA's Open Water Diver Program is absolutely the best, most comprehensive entry-level training in the business.
It consists of three parts: 1) Academic Training, 2) Pool Training, and 3) Ocean Training. Our classes have a maximum of eight students, and the skills you learn are videotaped and critiqued as part of the course.
Becoming a competent, confident, comfortable--and safe--diver involves learning a body of knowledge and a complex set of physical and team skills in a variety of aquatic environments until they become "normal" and "natural." This takes time.
Consequently, we do not offer cheap, quick classes, simply "to get you certified."
Instead, we provide in-depth, professional diving education with a commitment to excellence in every phase of your training.
Our Open Water Diver Program spans three full weeks, and it will be the most exciting and rewarding experience of your life. When you graduate you will not just be "certified," you will be a diver!
