Dr. Adam Creasy

Long before Adam was a dive instructor, he made waves in another sport, springboard and platform diving.  As a scholarship athlete at The University of Texas at Austin, Adam competed on the school's swimming and diving team and pursued a degree in English.  Upon graduating, Adam spent the next few years touring Australia, working at a ski resort in Colorado, teaching English in Los Angeles, and advancing through the scuba diving certifications. 

After a few years of travelling and exploring his educational opportunities, Adam ulimately went back to Austin to begin his doctoral studies at UT.  In May 2006, Adam graduated and moved back to Los Angeles to pursue various educational endeavors. He is currently working as an academic tutor and mentor for an educational consulting company in Santa Monica. During his off times on the weekends, Adam ventures down to San Diego to take part in the family of San Diego Underwater Adventures.

As a lifelong athlete, student, and teacher, Adam has a unique background that fits into the mission of San Diego Underwater Adventures.
